2024 State of the Association Update

On July 31, AACS Executive Director Cecil Kidd & Board Chair Cathy Koluch presented the 2024 State of the Association Update to members. Among the top updates were the growth of the organization, importance of being a member, and continued advocacy goals. Koluch informed attendees about the work that AACS has done in keeping members abreast of government relations on both the state and federal levels. Additionally, the upcoming AACS Annual Conference was announced, and attendees were encouraged to register for this event in order to receive even more important updates and education pertinent to the beauty, barber, and wellness school sector. 

After the State of the Association Update, attendees received a special look at the new AACS members-only Info Hub and resources. Cecil Kidd led a tour through this newly implemented digital member portal that offers members a place to view school and partner directories, update member profiles, network with other members and partners, register for events, access members-only resources such as webinars and news items, participate in community forums, and more.
