Call to Action: FVT/GE Reporting Delay Request

Dear AACS Member,

As the due date for Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment reporting is fast approaching, we know that many of you are still struggling to meet that deadline, especially since the cohort lists that were supplied by NSLDS are inaccurate for many of our schools.

In an effort to push the deadline, we are asking beauty, barber, and wellness schools to take part in a Call to Action to their Members of Congress requesting them to contact the Department of Education to ask for an extension of the reporting until July 2025.

It’s easy. We have already drafted a letter on your behalf.  All you need to do is to follow this link, complete the requested fields and your message will be sent to your Member of Congress and U.S. Senators.

The Department of Education was underprepared to roll out the FASFA causing numerous delays and Congressional hearings on the issue. In turn, they are clearly unprepared for the new FVT/GE reporting as incorrect data is being provided to our institutions.

Please take a moment and click the button below to let your Member of Congress know that the Department of Education is not prepared, and once again they have created unreasonable deadlines for themselves--and more importantly--the schools and colleges under their oversight.
