Yesterday, Congressman Lloyd Smucker (Pennsylvania) introduced legislation--the "Clock Hour Program Student Protection Act"--which is being circulated to Members of Congress for co-sponsorship.
This legislation was brought forth in response to the Biden Administration's 100% Rule, which was blocked by the courts. If passed, this legislation would preserve the 150% Rule and ensure that this rule stays in place permanently, regardless of the administration in office.
AACS is working with other groups in the sector to acquire co-sponsors for this legislation. We will continue to provide any updates to members as the legislation progresses.
